Sunbird Nkopola to unveil new rooms

After unveiling and launching its new lakeside suites at Sunbird Livingstonia in Salima, Sunbird Hotels and Resorts' has announced plans to unveil newly renovated and upgraded rooms at its other lakeside property, Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi. The renovations which began late 2018 are aimed to modernize and improve guest experience at the hotel while also keeping in track with global trends in the hospitality industry.

Following the successful renovations at its other lakeside property, Sunbird Livingstonia, the group is close to completing the renovations and upgrade which are scheduled to conclude by end May 2019 with an investment of K1.2 billion. Guests should expect to experience an improved and upgraded product with modern facilities and brilliant waterfront views of the beach and Lake Malawi itself. The property's 55 rooms are to be fitted with modern amenities and facilities including hi speed WIFI, Digital Satellite Television, Workstations, Mini Bars and storage facilities for guests. Chief Executive Officer for Sunbird, Yusuf Olela, explains "The key driving factor for our product improvement initiatives is to improve guest experience in our resorts, and elevate the standards for our local and International travelers to ensure value for money delivery. We believe that the upgraded and renovated rooms will perfectly compliment the recent investment in the new boardrooms, the New Malindi bar, gym, and the Watersports equipment. In the pipeline is also the upgrade of the arrival experience, which will fully ensure an unrivalled guest experience at Sunbird Nkopola."
