Sunbird Ku Chawe Rooms Upgrade

Sunbird Hotels & Resorts, Malawi’s leading hotel chain will soon be completing the full rooms renovation and upgrade of Sunbird Kuchawe, the iconic mountain resort in Zomba. The renovations and upgrades aim to ensure an improved accommodation guest experience at the resort.

The Chief Executive for Sunbird Hotels & Resorts, Yusuf Olela said, “It was imperative for Sunbird to embark on this key investment for Sunbird Kuchawe in order to ensure an elevated customer experience, and is proof of our commitment as a brand to continuously respond to emerging trends as well as aligning with the customer needs. The project is set to conclude this coming December.” Olela further commented “The renovations include a full rooms refurbishment that includes upgraded bathrooms, new and modern furniture fittings, and new carpets. The refurbishment is set to compliment the new facilities at the resort that have been recently added and includes; new and modern kitchen, heated swimming pool and Spa”.

Olela further added “We will also commence refurbishment of rooms and conference facilities for Sunbird Mzuzu this mid-December with planned completion by March 2023, in order to further cement the hotel’s position as the premier leading destination for hospitality services in the northern region”
