Company Background
Sunbird Tourism Limited (SBT) is a publicly quoted enterprise, listed on
the Malawi Stock exchange. The group has a total of 7 hotels, all
strategically located in Malawi's key business hubs and resort locations.
With this portfolio, SBT is by far the largest hospitality and tourism
enterprise in Malawi.
SBT
was incorporated in 1988 as a private company following the amalgamation
and consolidation of hotels previously owned by the government of
Malawi under different investment vehicles.
In
the year 2002, the company was listed on the Malawi stock exchange. |
